About Mrs. Blankenship
I graduated from Hardin-Central in 2006. In high school I was very active in sports. I did basketball, cross country, volleyball, and basketball. That is where I grew a huge passion for sports. I had an awesome PE teacher who really inspired me! Therefore, after high school I decided to go to college to teach PE. I graduated at UCM in 2011 and found a para job in Richmond. I got married to my best friend in 2012 and now we live in Richmond with our two dogs. We have a beagle named Rascal and a shih tzu named Moose. My husband and I love taking them on walks in the evenings. They even go on vacation with us too. They are like our children!
I cannot wait to start my new chapter in my life here at Missouri City. I am so passionate about sports because I believe it teaches children the skills they need for everyday life. I want them to be self-disciplined, have confidence, learn how to handle winning and losing, to be a good team member, and how to be persistent and push through challenging things. I pray that I am successful in instilling these things in your child!
